How to Download Movies to an Android Coby Device

Coby Android tablets include a Gallery app that can play videos. You can use the Gallery app to play downloaded movies and other video files after copying them to your Coby device. Your Coby tablet includes a USB cable that you can use to connect it to your computer. After it’s connected, you can copy videos and other files to and from the device using Windows Explorer. In addition to videos, the Gallery app also displays the pictures on your device’s storage.

Connect the small end of the included USB cable to the USB port on the side of your Coby tablet.

Connect the large end of the included USB cable to a USB port on your computer.

Touch and drag the notification bar at the top of your Coby tablet’s screen down.

Tap “USB Connected (Internal)” If you want to copy the movies to your Coby device’s internal storage or tap “USB Connected (External)” if you want to copy the movies to a memory card, if one is installed in your Coby.

Tap the “Mount” button on the Coby device’s screen to mount your selected storage device on your computer.

Click “Start,” click “Computer” and double-click your Coby device in the Computer window to view its contents.

Copy movies to the “Videos” directory or any other location on your Coby device. You can copy movies by dragging and dropping them from your computer, or using the Copy and Paste options in the right-click menu.

Click the “Safely Remove Hardware” icon in your system tray, click the “Eject” option for your Coby device and disconnect it from your computer.
